Each and every Larry H. Miller company is given a charge to do what it can to help its local community flourish. This charge came from Larry H. Miller himself, and is taken very seriously by the Larry H. Miller Lexus Spokane dealership. Recently, Larry H. Miller Lexus Spokane has been able to help enrich lives at the Boys & Girls Club in Spokane. Watch this video below for more information on this partnership.
“The philosophy of the Larry H. Miller group of companies is to be good stewards in the community, give back and be involved” Larry H. Miller Lexus Spokane General Manager Bob McLean says in the video. “We encourage our employees to do the same thing.”
The connection between Larry H. Miller Lexus Spokane and Boys & Girls Club Spokane has significantly benefitted all involved, none more than the kids taking advantage of the incredible programs offered. Daniel Anderson, who is currently majoring in recreation at Eastern Washington University was one of those kids, and was even named Youth of the Year from 2006 to 2008.
“I started coming 12 years ago when the doors first opened,” Anderson says in the video. “In high school, it kept me in school and out of trouble. In a way, it saved my life. I knew when I was younger that this place was special.”
While a lot has been done to help kids grow into successful adults in the Spokane area, the struggles that stand in the way of this goal are never-ending. Spokane Boys & Girls Club Executive Director Dick Hanlin is more than aware of this fact, and is thankful for all the support Larry H. Miller Lexus Spokane and other local businesses give.
“[Larry H. Miller Lexus Spokane] brings, along with other key players in the community, tremendous building blocks for adding continuity to our annual challenges to provide for the kids as well as our vision,” Hanlin says in the video.
